Funding Instructions - Credit/Debit Card

To deposit funds using a credit or debit card review the information below.

• There is a $10.000 maximum on all credit card deposits within one calendar month.
• The minimum deposit is $300 ($2,000 for MetaTrader 4 accounts).  The minimum for all other credit card deposits is $25.
• All card-based transactions are automatically converted to US Dollars.  You may incur additional fees by your card issuer for currency conversion.
• Most transactions will generally clear within one business day.  Please note that there may be delays if FXCM is unable to verify all deposit information.
• Credit card withdrawals appear on the cardholder's account as a credit and are subject to be received in the time frame dictated by the banking institution of credit card merchant.
• Prepaid, Gift, Maestro, and Visa Electron cards are not accepted.
• FXCM does not accept card deposits from OFAC countries and other high risk regions.
• Payments declined due to third-party payment or high risk region may be held by your credit card company anywhere from 5-30 business days.  FXCM is not responsible for the release of such holds on your credit card.

Bank Wires

Bank wires are cleared funds that allow you to begin trading once the funds are posted to your account.

There is no charge for incoming wires. However, your bank may have additional fees, such as a "handling fee". Please be aware that intermediary banks may also charge an additional fee for processing wires. To inquire about these charges, please contact your bank(s) directly.

Your bank may charge a fee for returned wires. We do not accept funds from numbered accounts. We do not accept third-party payments

Please note that FXCM cannot guarantee exchange rates for non-USD deposits.  If you would like to fund your account with foreign currency, please contact us at treasury@globalfutures.com.

Paper Cheque (GBP) Deposits

Any cheques drawn in a foreign currency (other than GBP or USD) will be returned to the remitter. FXCM nor Global Futures are responsible for the loss of the cheque.

All GBP cheques must have a UK correspondent and be drawn on a GBP denominated back account in order to allow for correct processing.

Minimum deposit £2,000

Personal cheques drawn on UK banks can take up to five business days to clear from the time of receipt. Official bank drafts will generally be deposited into your trading account within one business day after receipt.

Please indicate your account number on the cheque or "Temporary ID" for new accounts to expedite processing.
